It may be true that Demi is a fan herself! She tweeted some of the lyrics to "Before The Storm":

“That song rightfully deserves a grammy.”
And after she tweeted that, she said:
“How did liking the song turn me into a “niley” supporter?!!?! Hahaha oh man. oh man oh man. I support jevinickileyena. Woo!”
